Add a warning banner to information records

The steps below outline how you can add a warning banner to certain information records, associated with a specific status type. 

The On Hold Status allows you to add a warning banner that displays like this:

The Tenancy Information banner

 Note

You will need access to User Defaults, to edit your default settings. These can be accessed by those who have the correct permissions

Locating the status for the banner

  1. Click Defaults on the main toolbar
  2. Click User Defaults from the dropdown menu
  3. In the Standard tab, click Status/Type to display Status Definitions
    1. If you wish to add a new Status, you can do

    2. Select Tenancy on the side menu
    3. Tick the On Hold column of the Status you want the banner to appear
    4. Click on the button with the 3 dots to open the On Hold Status Details

Adding the warning banner details

  1. Click Defaults on the main toolbar
  2. Click User Defaults from the dropdown menu
  3. In the Standard tab, click Status/Type to display Status Definitions
  4. Click on the button with the 3 dots to open the On Hold Status Details
  5. Tick Display warning banner on all associated records
  6. Add the Warning Text that you wish to appear on the Information records
  7. Click Close

All records with this Status will appear with the warning banner.
