How do I know which deposits I am holding above the permitted amount?

The steps below show you how you can view a report of upcoming renewals, where you need to refund some deposit monies in line with the Tenant Fees Act Renewals. You can do this by creating a custom report.

1. Click Reporting on the main toolbar
2. Click General from the dropdown menu
3. Click Custom 
4. Click Finished
5. The Defined Reports tab displays
   1. In the Remaining Reports column, click Tenant Fees Act Renewal Report
   2. Click Generate Report 

The Tenant Fees Act Renewal Report lists all tenancies with a renewal date in the future where the total of Deposit Held is greater than the calculated Maximum Permitted Deposit.
