The steps below show you how you can manage your TDS uploads by managing TDS Certificates Pending, Failed Uploads & clearing Successful Uploads in the Organiser.

From time to time, the Organiser will have a large number of entries on it and it's recommended that this is managed so that you can easily track information.

  1. Click Reporting on the main toolbar
  2. Click Organiser on the dropdown menu
    1. Alternatively click the folded page icon on the toolbar
  3. Click the TDS Uploads tab
  4. There are three options:
    1. Certificates Pending
    2. Failed Uploads
    3. Successful Uploads

Certificates Pending

  • These are certificates currently in the process of being sent to the TDS and awaiting registration of the TDS deposit information
  • Check the list as some Tenancies may not need to be here anymore and are stuck on here due to actions not being completed at that time
  • If you have checked on the TDS website and they have been registered, in the Tenancy Information:
    1. Click the Deposit Protection tab
    2. Click the Tenancy Deposit tab
    3. Tick Registered, this will clear any off the Organiser

Failed Uploads

  • This will tell you in the details as to why the upload failed. Correct the areas which they have referred to as being incomplete. In the Tenancy Information:
    1. Click the Deposit Protection tab
    2. Click the Tenancy Deposit tab
    3. Click Re-Upload
    4. Remove the Failed message after you have completed the corrections
    5. Tick in U/D
    6. Click Update Marked Items

Successful Uploads

  • Clear out the Successful Uploads so you have 1 week or 1 days worth of successful upload notifications, depending on how you want to manage it
  • Remove successful uploads
    1. Tick in U/D
    2. Click Update Marked Items

 Best practice

Periodically check the TDS website to cross check Tenancies you have registered against those in CFPwinMan to make sure the list matches
