If you use the TDS upload module integrated with CFPwinMan software and wish to change the amount of the deposit you are holding, all you need to do is change the Deposit Requested amount on the Tenancy Information.
If the deposit was originally manually registered with the TDS and uploaded via CFPwinMan, you won’t be able to make the changes on the Tenancy. Instead, you will need to make the change via the TDS website.
This article includes:
Update the Deposit Requested amount
- Double click Tenancies from the side menu
- Search for the relevant Tenancy using Search Text by Name, Code or Status
- Alternatively, find the Tenancy using Additional Options from the dropdown menu
- Or select a Branch if multi branch is set up on your CFPwinMan
- Click on the Tenancy
- The Tenancy Details tab will be displayed
- Deposit Requested - Edit this to the reduced amount, to comply with 5 weeks rent
For more information on What is the maximum permitted deposit, click here - Click the disk icon, Save this record, on the toolbar
- Deposit Requested - Edit this to the reduced amount, to comply with 5 weeks rent
This will automatically upload the new deposit amount to the TDS. If it doesn’t appear in the Certificates Pending List on the Organiser, you may need to click Re-Upload.
