Add a gas certificate due date
Gas certificate reminder dates are added on the Property Information record.
- Double click Properties from the side menu
- Search for the relevant Property using Search Text by Name, Code or Status
- Alternatively, find the Property using Additional Options from the dropdown menu
- Or select a Branch if multi branch is set up on your CFPwinMan
- Click on the Property
- Add a date in Gas Cert Due

Gas certificate due date removal
If there are some properties which have no gas supply, the gas certificate due date field (Gas Cert Due) can be removed. This feature is set up in User Defaults.
Note
You will need access to User Defaults, to edit your default settings. These can be accessed by those who have the correct permissions
- Click Defaults on the main toolbar
- Click User Defaults on the dropdown menu
- Click Preferences
- Click Dates
- In Gas Certificate Reminder Date, click the dropdown menu and select the same User Definable Date Text number as shown in the Property Information Page list. In this example, User Definable Date Text 2
- Click Save and Exit
- Click Close
- Click Close
After you have set up this default, each time you make changes to a property where the Gas Cert Due date is blank, you will be reminded to either add a gas due date or remove it, if there is no gas supply.
You can then remove the Gas Cert Due date on the Property Information.
- Double click Properties from the side menu
- Search for the relevant Property using Search Text by Name, Code or Status
- Alternatively, find the Property using Additional Options from the dropdown menu
- Or select a Branch if multi branch is set up on your CFPwinMan
- Click on the Property
- The Gas Cert Due date field remains blank
- Click on the Utilities tab
- Remove the tick in Gas Supply Available
- The Gas Cert Due date field will be removed
- Click the disk icon, Save this record, on the toolbar
