    2. Detail

Defining page margins

  • By default, a new layout has no page margins set
  • If the printer doesn't print your layout right to the edge of the paper, any fields placed along the top, bottom or sides of the layout may not be printed correctly. In this case, enter a margin in millimetres for the top, bottom, left and right edges

Inserting fields into the layout

There are five fields where merge codes can be inserted into the layout.

  1. Double click a code in one of the fields to insert it in the grid
  2. Report Fields and Special Fields
    • These will be inserted into the Detail section
  3. Page Header/Footer fields
    • These will be inserted into either the PageHeader or PageFooter section, depending on whether the Header or Footer is selected under Section
  4. Click Insert Marketing ImageTo insert a field to include a property marketing image, an image can only be inserted once in the layout

      1. Click within the field frame, then hover the cursor until it changes to a hand symbol
      2. Click, hold and drag the frame to a new position
      3. If more than one field is selected, they are moved as a group
    2. To resize a field
      1. Hover your cursor over one of the fields until it changes to a double arrow
      2. The blocks in the middle of the vertical sides of the field change the width of the frame
      3. Those in the middle of the horizontal sides change the depth of the frame
      4. Those in the corners change both width and depth
      5. Click, hold and drag the frame to its new size
      6. If more than one field is selected, the same size change is applied to each

Toolbar functions

On the toolbar are a list of functions for the positioning and resizing, setting the layout, font type and colour of the text, to appear on the Property List when it is merged.

Many of the toolbar functions can be accessed by a right click, then selecting from the dropdown menu

  1. Click the Preview tab on the toolbar
    • An example layout of the Property List appears. The merged properties are those currently selected via Miscellaneous, Property Lists. If no details merge, it is because no properties have been selected
