How do reminder dates show on the Organiser?

The Organiser shows a list of reminders for items based on dates, so you can see items that are due, overdue or due today, such as for payments that need to be made, inspections to be carried out, arrears to chase and property certificates to be renewed.

If your Organiser isn’t showing all the date reminders which you are expecting, it could be for these reasons:

  • The settings in your User Defaults needs editing to show dates earlier than they are currently due
  • The Information record where the date is set has been set to inactive or archived

Organiser User Defaults

 Note

You will need access to User Defaults, to edit your default settings. These can be accessed by those who have the correct permissions

  1. Click Defaults on the main toolbar
  2. Click User Defaults on the side menu
  3. Click the Organiser Setup tab
  4. You can set most of the Organiser lists to show Future Dated Items. To show Future Dated Items, enter the number of warning days, for example if 14 days is entered, the item shows on the Organiser 14 days before the due date
By default, the Organiser shows all overdue items that are past the date which it was due
  5. Click to select an item listed for it to open each time the Organiser is displayed. In the example below, Arrears will display

    • Arrears
      • If you have entered a number of days next to Arrears, they will then not show on the Organiser until they are that number of days overdue. For example, if 30 is entered, the arrears will not show until they are 30 days overdue
      • If you enter 0, arrears will show on the day they are due

Information Status

If the Status on the Information record is set to a Not Listable Status, reminder dates will not appear on the Organiser.
